Comparing art forms..
I was reading this somewhere about how to compare between different creative art forms. For example, let's suppose I have a story to tell. Now this story can be
1. Written out by a writer.
2. Sketched on a canvas by an artist.
3. An actor/actress may play it out.
4. A composer can create a symphony which tells the story.
If we assume that all these creations are able to successfully accomplish the objective of rendering my story, then how do we decide which is the superior art form. Do we compare based on the number of audio/visual senses used or the ease of use of the artform?

You can never compare art forms.... Its like comparing Apples and Oranges.
The best part is that when the art forms are combined, it creates a truly amazing experience.... like in a movie... you have performance, music and powerful visuals all of which are different art forms by themselves...
